Last Thursday, we launched our new topic, Bloodheart. Mr Martin, our science link-governor, joined us for a fun-filled afternoon making blood models. The children learned what our blood was made up of, what jobs the different parts do and the importance of blood donation before making their own model of blood using household items to represent the various parts such as the red blood cells.
