Chartwells prepare our school meals on a three week cycle. Here is our current menu.

Our school dinners which at present cost £2.57 each are payable in advance; parents/carers and able to ‘top up’ on ParentPay to cover the cost of meals taken. Currently children in our Nursery and years 3 to 6 pay for school dinners. We are delighted that, at this time, the Government will fund pupil meals for Reception, year 1 and year 2 pupils, a universal free school meal – UFSM. School secures funding for these UFSM meals by those children having a school dinner on our autumn and spring census days.
Your child may be eligible for means tested Free School Meals. The number of children claiming free school meals can have a positive impact on our school funding through the Government’s Pupil Premium.
It’s eligibility that counts, so your child can still bring sandwiches from home and be registered for free school meals.

March 2021: Marnie, the nutritionist in our local Chartwells team is here to help support our school in a range of different ways, including health education, making sure menus are School Food Standard compliant, and processing Medical Diets.
As part of this support, they have made seven of their ‘Beyond the Chartwells Kitchen’ sessions available on YouTube.
