Heart Dissection at QEGS
Caution! Not for the faint-hearted!
The White Tigers, today, visited the science labs at QEGs for a lesson on heart dissection. Mrs Wright delivered an awe-inspiring lesson where our brave pupils donned their aprons and gloves to dissect a lambs heart. They were on a mission to find out more about the heart’s structure and how it functions after their introductory lessons back in the classroom. The children were so fantastically behaved and gained a lot of knowledge from the session – it was a great afternoon. Special thanks go to Mrs Hewerdine for helping to transport the children; your support is much appreciated, and of course, to Mrs Wright who gave up her lunch time and free period to help us with our learning!
