Ladybird class visit to Burton Adventure Farm – 12^th December 2019

On a very wet December morning Ladybird class left on a magical adventure to visit Burton Adventure Farm and to see a special man in a red suit. On arrival we went visited the barn and acted out the Nativity story surrounded by the animals.   We went to see the Elves at the sorting office and saw the letters we had written to Father Christmas before helping to sort out the different shaped parcels and posting them into the correct shaped parcel chutes.   We also had to help the elves fix their magical machine by placing golden nuggets into the slots and pressing the golden buzzer.

We learnt about the North Pole and watched as the Northern Lights flashed across the sky before we went on a very bumpy tractor ride to search for reindeers and scarecrows.

We enjoyed our packed lunches, visited Father Christmas and spent time exploring the indoor play area before returning home back on the coach to school. Very tired and extra sleepy.
