In Early Years, we made a selection of Poppies from clay to commemorate Remembrance Day. We talked about why we wear poppies and watched a programme telling us what happened during and after the war. Afterwards we started to create the poppies that were going to decorate ‘The Stable’ at Cauldon Lowe. This is a focal point in the village, which has different themes throughout the year.

Penguins class created some wonderful clay poppies which are on display at the entrance to our dining hall.
