On Thursday 6^th June, children from Y3/4/5/6 took part in an Inter School cricket competition at Clifton cricket club. On a lovely sunny afternoon our children batted, bowled and fielded with great enthusiasm and skill. After a very tough opening fixture against a strong Osmaston team, our players rallied in their second match to produce an excellent performance against Clifton, with notable mentions going to Amber who took two wickets in one over, and Joe and Cameron who produced a very strong opening batting partnership. Sadly, the competition was cut short due to time, but our pupils excelled with their sportsmanship and positive attitude.
